12 bottles of fosters beer for a fiver in Tesco Xtra

Just came from Tesco Extra in Drogheda. 12 x 330ml (4.3% alcohol) bottles of fosters for €5. Bought 4 cases. Was never much of a fan of fosters but at that price I'd imagine the taste will be just fine!

Noticed there also: 15 X 440ml cans of Carlsberg Export (5% alcohol) for €15 on special offer.

Wow thats cheap. Are they in date or near expiry? Used to like Fosters in my student years and haven't tried it in years. I'd defo get a few packs at that price.

Their expiry is at the end of the month. I believe they were doing them in an ordinary Tesco in Coonagh here in Limerick. What is a Tesco Xtra btw?

Got a couple of cases tonight in Tesco, Galway. Not many left at 10pm. Great price. Well spotted. Perfect for the BBQ season and World Cup.

Picked up 2 in Ballybrack yesterday. The sign on them said €10 but they scanned at €5. Wasn't a huge amount left. But nobody passing by will know they're actually €5 so they probably won't be selling that quickly.

Drank one of the cases last night, not exactly the world's best beer but any beer for that price is good.

which tesco is it? The one in the bloomfields shopping centre or the other centre(the older 1-don't know what its called).

Thats just to get people into the store, both DL Ctr and Bloomfields were cleared out by lunch time today. I managed to get the last of them that were hidden behind some cans. (Someone trying to stash them for a return visit Ha )
