    Anyone point me in the direction of hard figures? i'm googling and i keep getting widely different figures so really dont know who to believe

    I also did a quick Google and most results point to Apple being 3 times ahead. I would believe that.

    Can I just ask for the figures are for. The reason I ask is that I don't see the point in getting figures to compare them at the moment. Most figures came out at the start of the year before big phones like the desire, X10, EVO etc etc.

    Truthfully I don't think we will see decent number till we get to 2012 and with such a push from different vendors at the moment things are going to go up and down at lot for the next few years

    simply Apple have had a headstart and so the overall numbers are in their favour. However it appears that current sales numbers this year are running in favour of Android.
