    Yes come to think of it, I reckon you're right. Gaffer was in charge when they actually had excellent depth of choice for players. Poideven in the backrow with Willie O, Blades in the front row with Kearns, Matty Burke at fullback and Farr-Jones at halfback.
    Staniforth was coming through back then also.
