Hi, I know that Youghal isn't in Waterford, but I'm getting mine done in Youghal tomorrow for 80euro, for that price it might be worth travelling for! I can let you know how it goes if you want, after I get it done.

Hi MBW thanks for your reply, OMG thats such a great price - Im dying to know how you get on with it I paid €220 in January I feel robbed! was delighted with the results and want to get it done again but not at that price Im really amazed that your getting it for such a great price and your right it would be well worth travelling for!

I'm from Douglas, just outside Cork city. I enquired in Douglas about getting it done a few weeks ago, would be 260, was told that would include the price of the special shampoo and conditioner that I would need to use. That was way too expensive for me, shampoo or no shampoo included!
Anyway, a friend of mine lives in Youghal and uses this hairdresser, she said that the hairdresser is very good. And in fairness my buddy's hair always looks great. So, that's how I heard about this particular salon.
I will report back after I wash it myself, to let you know how it worked out. Might be tomorrow week by the time I get back for you, as I'm going away for a few days between Tuesday and Friday. The hairdresser told me that it's the same one as they featured on Xpose.

I know that hype hairdressers in Tramore do it So it's most likely that hype hairdressers in the city would do it aswel.

So sorry about the delay in reporting back. It's totally fab - I couldn't recommend it more. From the day I got it done I was so happy, but was anxious to see how it would behave after I washed it myself. I couldn't have been more happy with the results, my hair has never looked or felt better.

So it was 80 euro do you have to buy special shampoo as well?? What happens if it gets wet as in rain?? I saw a friend with it and its very impressive but for 80 euro I could so afford it :D Would save on electricity :D

I didn't have to buy any special shampoo, I use Joico brand and she said that, that was perfect, just not to use the supermarket type shampoo.
She said if it got wet during the 48hours, to blow dry it, then straighten it and it would be fine.

Do you mind me asking where in yougal you got it done? Am only dying to get this done since I've heard about it but couldn't really afford it, yours sounds like fantastic value. Does it work on coloured hair? I get a semi in every 6 wks or so and the roots are done with a permanent colour, defo couldn't live without getting colour done
