    Hi, I'm 16 and I got fined but I had no I.D. with me, would they be able to prove it??

    It's up to you to prove you are the age you claimed to be. If you were traveling on a season/student type ticket you should have had your ID card with you if required as this associates you with the ticket you traveled with.

    If you were fined then they may require you to prove your ID and details.

    if you gave them your actual address they have to prove nothing.

    Did you have a child ticket? you have to be UNDER 16 for a child ticket.

    It was becuase I was caught without a ticket even though I bought one

    I got on at Pearse so there was no way I could get through without a ticket

    Yeah there is, just walk behind someone. People are always doing that with me at Pearse. I see them standing at the barriers, I just put my ticket in and go through and they run right behind me. No shame on their part at all.

    Ture but I'm talking about getting on the side going to Bray/Greystones and there's a guy that watches on that side and catches anybody trying to sneak through

    I dropped it in a tiolet in Pearse Street station.
