USIM information/javacard (moved from mobiles)

    Hey first time poster.

    I was trying to find out does the HTC Hero have a usim card reader.Also does meteor support usim javacards or do any irish telecomms companies support this.

    Usims are the 3g sims that are used by all networks now.

    Not sure what javacards are?

    is a usim just a 3g sim or is there more to it? what's a javacard? can you link to some info?
