Reid Furniture closes its doors

    Reid Furniture has closed four of its outlets this afternoon, including its store in Sligo.
    The store is located at the Carraroe Retail Park.
    The stores in Galway, Cork, and Limerick have also been closed.
    It’s understood staff at the store were told at close of business last evening that the store was to shut for good.

    Whilst I feel sorry for all the staff who have lost jobs, I have to say that I am not in the slightest surprised. The company was bay far the worst I have ever dealt with - good riddance to Reids.

    I hope the staff will find alternative work soon and enjoy the fact that the no longer have to work for such a gang of useless gougers.

    Just heard that management have gone in to Stillorgan and Naas Rd shops, sent customers packing, and closed the doors, just like they did last June in Sligo and Limerick.
