personalised runners

MrsC (aka the mammy) is celebrating her 60th in July, and I want to buy her walking shoes/runners. I got the notion though that it might be kind of cool to get them personalised for her. Anyone know if this is possible and if so, how/where to go about it. Any info would be super! ;)

Yep, it's possible, but not too cheap... Nike ID is the only one I'm aware of but I'm sure there's others...

I remember Nike did some kind of personalized running shoes / football boots, that were all the rage with the teenagers last summer, but the footwear itself was supposed to be less than ideal for anything other than posing.

Maybe call to a T-shirt / mug /keyring / printing shop and see what they can do for you?

I'm pretty sure Nike are the only ones that do it, you can get some of their good pairs of running shoes personalised though.
