Emergency Tax - Starting to get really annoyed

I started a thread about this a while back when the problem was in its infancy ... now I've pretty much exhausted all routes to go down and still the problem is here.

Sorted out my tax credits cert months back and sent it off to the revenue. They have since sent it off to my employer (Tesco) so they can tax me correctly and refund me my emergency tax.

For months now I've been taxed at 42% an still am. I've tried talking to managers about this but nobody seems to have a clue whats going on. Its as though my tax credits cert is floating in space somewhere ...

I've rang the revenue and they said theres nothing they can do. In my job theres a big game of pass the problem parcel going on....

Does anybody have any advice on this? Almost half my wages are going every week and I cant keep living like this ... I owe rent and earn little as it is! >:|

Has anybody ever worked in Tesco head office (or the head office of any big comp) and dealt with things like this??>?

Any help or advice much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Dean:(

    Hey Dean0088,
I worked in payroll for a number of years (not tesco) and it really is up to your payroll department to sort out and in fairness its not that hard for them to do seems like they are just being lazy fcukers tbh
what i would do is ask your manager for the number of head office i see its nowhere to be found on google when you get it (and pester your manager for it your entitle to it) ring it and ask for the fax number and the name and email of the person who deals with payroll again you are entitled to this
once you have it fax a copy of your tax cert off for the attention of the payroll person also go to an internet shop scan it and send it by email to them
they have this address on google
Registered office address: Gresham House, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin
copy your cert and post it here for the attention of the payroll person

and best of luck you are entitled to your correct rate of tax to be issued on your payslip i dont understand why people in payroll do this after all everyone is entitled to get paid properly for their job
