More aimed at the the higher mileage runner.

How do you care for your feet?

I've a good bit of foot pain which after intial fears of stress fractures now appear to be just good old wear and tear on the foot. Skin damage, brusing, verucca, something like that. (I'm told and I hope is right).

This got me to thinking when you're running 160km a week, and long runs are in the realms of URI what do you do to care for your feet?

HTFU (or go to the other extreme and moisturise your feet!).
I wouldn't fit into the very high mileage (URI) category, but find that on 20+ mile runs a bit of cheap and nasty moisturizer on your feet the night before helps to avoid blisters, hot-spots, and wear and tear. and yes, I'm a full-blooded heterosexual, and the only place I moisturise is my feet. :)

By the way (unrelated note), did you take a look at P&D, or are you going with something else?

Reading P&D and Daniels. Not sure on approach just yet.

Turns out its a verrucca - assuming its okay to ask for advice on minimising the impact of this on running?

google books - fixing your feet
Book covers a lot of problems. Written more as a series of personal perspectives rather than a medical text but does give some useful insights.

I have a pretty large verruca on my left foot. My GP says it's too big to try burning it off with liquid nitrogen. I've had it for more than a year and it doesn't cause any problems - both feet feel pretty much the same when running, and afterwards.
The only special care I give my feet is to dry between the toes properly - a hairdryer can be good for this - and very occasionally (i.e. much less often than Krusty) apply some moisturiser.
I run every day, but weekly mileage is only 55-60 miles, so maybe this advice is no use to you.

Wartner verruca remover and bazooka have worked for me.

I've just purchased the former, what is the latter and where do I get it?

Spelt it wrong, should be Bazuka, I was obviously thinking of that pink bubble gum from my childhood, which is not good for feet.
Bazuka is available across the counter from phamacists, I used the two in combination, maybe the Wartner would have worked on its own, but Bazuka also prevents spread.
