seeking medical help - best place to go

    Hey All

    Prob have this locked in a few moments but anyway am wondering can anyone recommend a good doc or physio, i dont some damage to my knee i dunno was in weight lifting or 3 days mountain biking, seems like tendonitus but ive been treating it with ice and rest for 3 weeks and today first day to do anything on it was 20mins on cross trainer and well the pain is now constant, i cant see swelling but feel a jabb of pain now and then. not sore to walk only getting in / out of car, some times using clutch


    anyway i dont want forking out money to a doc who says go to a physio. would a sports clinic be anyuse, am in dubloin 13 area

    i dont think this will be locked. your seeking direction as which prefessional to go too. if you have a GP thats prob the best port of call as they will know your medical history.

    I have never had the need to visit a physio ( touch wood) so i dont know can you go to one without visitng a GP. maybe someone can answer this for you here?

    You can visit a physio, however AFAIK if a scan is needed then they will refer you to a doctor who will in turn organise the scan, or at least this is how i've always done it.
