    Hi John/Folks

Im looking for a set of speakers preferably freestanding to match my Marantz PM7001 KI Signature Series Amplifier. I spent alot of time researching this Amp and by all accounts its supposed to be the dogs bollox. I want to match a set of speakers to make the best use of what the amplifier can do but am not too sure which ones would work best. I had my eye on the Monitor Audio freestanding speaker range and need help mayching a speaker to the specs below. If you can quote me some prices for Speakers you recommend John that would be great. A friend of mine got a set of BR6's from you and recomended i talk to you

    75/120 Watt Frequency Range
    10 - 60000 Hz Total Harmonic Distortion(THD)
    0.01 % Bridged Power Output

    Damping Factor
    100 Input Sensitivity MM/MC
3mV/47 kOhm Input Sensitivity High Level
    200 mV Input Sensitivity Balanced

    Signal to Noise MM/MC

    Hey Zenoku.

Have a look at the following speakers:

Monitor Audio RX6 priced at £699.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=960&Results=true&keys=monitor%20audio%20rx
    These speakers are fantastic :)

You could also look at the BR6 speakers which are priced at £499.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=624&Results=true&keys=br6%20
Although the BR range is due to be replaced so the £499.95 price might be reduced.

Oh and you could also go for the RX8 which would be priced at £949.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=930&Mode=0&productid=986&Results=true&keys=rx8%20

I hope this is of help.

I've read a good few reviews of the RX6's now and all of them say that the bass comes threw excellent and that it is a top class speaker. Id possibly be looking for a pair in High gloss white. Would this be a problem ordering them in and what is the best price you can give me for these speakers?

    Cheers,

    Zen,

Many thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you - The RX6 are really an amazing speaker and they also look completely stunning in the Pinal Lacquer white (the Piano Lacquer is not just a white version - they are sprayed many times and then poloshed by hand to a really lusturous finish (and even better they don't show the dust!) - They normally retail at £869.95 (the Piano lacquer is a 20% premium over the standard wood/black finish price of £699.95) - I will happily do you a Boardie special at the standard price ie £699.95 if you order in June.

I think we already have them available ex-stock (I'm away at the moment so I cannot check live stock - but even if they are not in our stock in Ireland we can get them to you generally in less than a week.)

Thanks again for the post and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,
