Some good news for any would be mechanics / aftersales experts in Dublin.
The Audi Centre in Ballsbridge is expanding operations to provide new levels of premium service for Audi customers by investing € 1.4m into a 4100 sqm site, conveniently located at the Sandyford exit on the M50.

Con Gough, Managing Director of the Audi Centre, says: “This new facility will help us deliver a level of customer service unique for premium brands in Ireland. It will include state of the art tooling and facilities to repair high technology vehicles such as the new Audi A8 and R8 V10.”

“This service excellence centre demonstrates the strong commitment by our dealer organisation to making the investments necessary to achieve the best levels of customer service in the industry. Together with our new dealer facility in North Dublin we now have a very strong foundation to deliver the best service levels in the industry,” says Frank Lennon, Aftersales Manager, Audi Ireland.

The new Audi South Dublin Service facility will open in July 2010 and will employ up to 30 staff.

Any word on what today's meeting in Fosters was about? Presume it's something to do with a large new service centre opening up just down the road..........
