heading over to london with the gf for a few days, was thinking of getting a easy hotel

    http://www.easyhotel.com/

was wondering where is the best one
    earls court
    paddington
    victoria
    south kensignton

we fly in and out of heathrow. we will be doing the usual touristy things.

anyone any experience? which is the best location for access etc?

Victoria or South Kensington would be my choice from those locations - Kensington would be straight forward from Heathrow.

South Kensington has the museums and is easy reach of west end (District line 2 or 3 stops to Embankment and then 10 mins walk).

Never stayed in Easyhotel but I guess you will get what you pay for - London can be expensive for hotels.

Have you considered an apartment or even checking last minute.com?

Finally, make sure you check out the tube service - most weekends have engineering work now (tfl.gov.uk) and plan your routes.

thanks for the reply have tried last minute but not getting great value. the easy hotel is working out at around 200 pound for 4 nights for 2 people.

any links for the apartment idea?

Any one except Earls Court is good location wise. Paddington is very handy for Heathrow and there are plenty of tube lines there. Not the nicest location, but not too bad either.

Travel Lodge is around the same price, with more locations.

Never done the apartment thing myself but I know there are lots of options - just google london apartments and happy hunting.

I've stayed in the Best Western in Earls Court twice. Nice hotel and around the corner from the underground... As far as I can remember there are two best westerns in Earls Court
