Haven't heard anything - did you ask Fast or the LES?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I heard about it on the radio two weeks ago on Today FM Last Word show...i knew of it since last September as there was a two year part time postgraduate diploma in UCC but was unable to get on it as you would have to be in reciept of welfare for a minimum of 6 months...whats LES that you mentioned???

Actually working for a training organisation that are engaged in one of the Labour Activiation Funds - First Step - taking those that are unemployed and interested in setting us a business.

All projects have been awarded at this time - see http://www.qualifax.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=249&Itemid=164 for further.

Any questions at all let me know and I hope I can assist.

i am in the process of applying to a course as part of the LMAF.i have been informed that I must have been in receipt of either Job seekers benefit/Allowance continuosly for the 3 months prior to starting the course.I started receiving job seekers allowance in January but filled in yellow slips as I was working part time.I finished up this work the end of May.However during the summer I supervised and corrected the state exams. I worked 5 days in June and approximately 10 working days in July and filled in the slips for the days I worked so did not receive any job seekers allowance for those weeks.I think the last day I worked was the end of July. The course is due to start in October so I will not have 3 months consecutive time claiming jobseekers allowance between end July and early October.I am still in receipt of jobseekers allowance and am
currently unemployed.if anyone could clarify whether i'm eligible or not thatd be great.it seems madness if i wasnt since have been signed on since january

The second link didn't work, the one to First Steps was fine but then I went to their Facebook and was shocked to see they are using a personal profile instead of a "Like" Page, I hope they are not encouraging people setting up in business to break Facebook terms of use? Its not a great example to lead.
