Our broccili plants is starting to show its small head now. How long does it take for this part to grow so it can be eaten? Once done, do i take the broccili plant out of the vegie patach or will it produce more? Thanks

Take off the little centre head when it is just big enough to use, maybe 2/3 inches across, then smaller heads will grow on side stalks. You should get a good few weeks of cutting. Depends a bit on what type of broccoli it is, but take a length of the flower stalk as well, they are really nice when fresh and tender.
