Bus Éireann Introduces Additional Early Morning Eurolines Service to UK

Due to customer demand that has seen an increase in passengers using Eurolines services to the UK and the continent, Bus Eireann, in conjunction with Irish Ferries and National Express, has introduced an early morning service from Dublin to London via Birmingham.

The 861 service will operate daily from Busaras at 0645 from 15 July 2010 to 5 September 2010. The service will operate daily from Victoria Coach Station in London at 0630 from 16 July 2010 until 6 September 2010.

Using Eurolines services takes the uncertainty out of travelling to the UK and Europe. And with return fares starting from €50, no travel tax and no charges for 2 medium cases it is a great value way to travel this summer.

Bus Éireann also operates a daily Eurolines service from Dublin to London at 2015 and a daily service from Dublin to Liverpool/Manchester/Leeds at 2005.

There is also a Eurolines service from Tralee/Limerick/Cork/Waterford to London that departs Rosslare at 2020. This operates daily during the summer and peak periods, and four days a week during all other times.

For the evening departure services, Eurolines fares from locations outside of Dublin include travel on Bus Éireann connecting services across its nationwide network.

Eurolines services from Ireland can be used to connect with Eurolines services across Europe.

Customers are advised to purchase their ticket online at buseireann.ie

It says €50 return, but I've never managed to find it for less than €70 one way (I must be doing something wrong I guess).

I've considered them several times, but always opted for the train.

There are two types of fare - you need to change from standard to economy (if available) to get the EUR 50 fare.

The difference is the conditions attached to the fare.

Looks like the Rosslare service has been reduced. This service was always 7 days a week, now it is only daily during the summer and peaks, reduced to 4 days for all other times.
