    Woke up the other morning and I felt like id been eating a toffee all nite.Now a day later i can bearly open my mouth I can but it hurts actuallys sends a pain into my jaw behind my ear.Please can anyone help me.

    it's called trismus. sounds like you're a night grinder, overworking the muscles you chew with which is making your cheeks sore. get some paracetamol or ibuprofen to make it more comfortable for now and ask your dentist about a night splint before you grind your teeth away.

    Go on a soft diet also, no chewing for a week or two. Avoid chewing gum like the plague.
