As far as I know there is only, 1 tuner on it.....so there isnt a need for a second cable, but they may have to replace the downconvertor ...piece on front of aerial...

Only a single cable is required, no matter how many tuners there are...

I'm in the same boat as you. Signed up online at end of Jan. Planned to have it installed on 15th Feb. Was told in confirmation email that they would contact me 3-5 days prior to installation date. When no contact was made I rang CS, only to be told that my order was cancelled. When I asked why, I was abruptly told that Digital + was not available to mmds clients. Fast forward to 3wks ago. I got blurb from UPC telling me all the wondrous stuff they can now do for me in my area. I rang Sales & asked what services were available in my area. Was told that only mmds was available in my area. I then asked what services were on mmds . Was told Digital & Digital +. I asked was she sure Digital + was available and she again confirmed that it was. I the asked her would she put her house on that :D. In the end We agreed that she would establish for certain if Digital+ was available to mmds clients and she is to come back to me on 15th of this month. We shall see what she comes back with:). The website tells me Digital & Digital + is available in my area.

UPC arrived today and installed .I had requested a dvr x 2 and was told no problem .|I was not home and I rang to see how they were installing it .Turns out they have upgraded the underground cable in my area (Trim)and was connected to this after they pulled in new cable to exterior connection box outside of house ..I was under the impression it was to be installed on the mmds system.

Thank you for the replies it is indeed a single cable to each .
Apologies to anyone who is on mmds who was looking for DVR .UPC gave me the impression it was available on MMDS

definetly not available on the ex-chorus mmds areas or never will be unless they spend millions in changing all the boxes to the ntl mmds ones seemingly.....
why oh why did they insist on the short-sighted idea of not cabling the new housing estates built recently in the midland towns and stick mmds aerials up instead>
