    Hey all,

Any good ideas on how to best move 8-10 40x40x40 boxes to the US? ;)
Cheap would be nice too :P

And does anyone know how to get a sword with me to the US?

    UPS? Or fedEx, Or DHL.

If you get them sent by sea they'll take a month and cost a lot less.

A sword? I'm no expert but I wouldnt imagine there's any restrictions, just pack it up and ship it with everything else.

We shipped our stuff by sea, definitely thecheapest option. We sent our swords thatway too (insured!), there was no problem with that.

i just had my sword posted over after me - wrapped it well and marked it fragile and it was fine

And if its fencing swords - i think you can just check them in as sporting equipment at the airport

I left my sword at home with the intention of buying a new one when i got over here, but after 2 months here I am yet to find a sword to meet my needs. Americans swords are not hefty enough for me, so now I am looking at getting my old one sent over.

I should of brought it with me.
