Ford Mondeo central locking issue...?

    Hello...

I have a 00 Ford Mondeo Zetec and the central locking sometimes "acts up" (the back left passenger door never locks with central locking, and occasionally the drivers door does the same), but in this case over the weekend the central locking died altogether. The alarm light was flickering, when the car is running, you can hear a "ticking" from somewhere behind that panel (by the sounds of it) and all doors now need to be manually opened or locked. The fuse was blown, so I bought a new one today, inserted it and saw the little flash of light to show it blew as soon as I replaced it.

    Any ideas...?

    Cheers,
    Jon
