i believe this was discussed in the past but can not find the thread at the moment, runs of a paintball canister in the back going by the range and weight of the balls used it is defiantly over a joule ( uses a barrel so yes does come under 1 joule rule )

Thats what i was thinking.but if i was to connect a hpa rig to it (easily done)
and regulated the psi to fire under 1 joule would i be ok?Would you know where i could ask about it.It don't want the hassle of ordering one and then it getting caught in customs.

It wouldn't be very effective if you did that. At 1 joule if the projectile only weighed 2 grams (and it's probably a lot heavier) the muzzle velocity would only be a little over 31 metres per second.

what if i was to use them with bbs with wadding behind them or would all the bbs be counted as a total weight which would mean im still restricted?
