Has anyone got these, are they are good as some people say? I hate SPD's but not sure if its worth forking out nearly 100 quid on them. Do they really make much difference over runners etc?

Can you buy them in Dublin anywhere?

Yes, they make a BIG difference.

I mean for downhill and jumping and the rough stuff etc. Assuming you have good pedals with pins. I use these with my 5-10s - http://www.syncros.com/images/pedal_stainless.jpg I've only lost a pedal once or twice, more due to compression spiking from a badly set up shock after hitting a quick series of big hits (5th element shock) than anything else.

For XC, they don't replace clipped in for powering up the hills, though.
