Stan James Deposit Problem

    I opened an online account today with Stan James but when i went to deposit funds into the account i got a message stating that my deposit was declined.
    I contacted the help desk and they advised me to contact my bank. I am at work at the minute and have not got a chance to contact them.
    There are available funds in my account so that could not be the problem.
    I noticed when i was inputting my details there is a section where you fill in your post code....i left that section blank. Would that have any bearing on it or did anyone else have this problem with Stan James?

    Post code has no bearing on it. Post code is not mandatory for accounts in ROI. There is no asterix next to it.

    Perhaps you had the incorrect sort code? There is one for GBP and one for all other currencies so maybe check that out first. If you want to deposit hassle free...

    Deposit using a paysafecard voucher. You can purchase them from any shop that has the PayPoint sign up. They come in €10, €25, €50 & €100. There is no deposit fee and it is instant.

    Thanks very much for the info, I decided to lodge the money using the paysafe method.
    As a matter of interest if i was lucky enough to be in a position to make a withdrawal, what method do they use to pay me.
