So my Driving Licence is in poor condition (thru the wash , 2 car crash one involving water and general ware and tear).

If I go in with just 2 new photos and my old licence will they replace it for me without having to fill out the forms or go looking for garda stamps.

I know I will have to pay , Just want a quick change not looking to drive around to gardai or filling out forms . this all just adds to the time :D

nope, gotta fill out the form and get it stamped by guards.
You'd prob have the form filled out in the time it took to write your post!

If the license is legible, then you don't need to fill in the form. If the address is out of date on the license, a change of address is free.

do you pass any garda stations on your way home? Most district HQ's (i.e big stations) or if you're in Dublin, ALL stations, are 24hrs.

Just pop in on your way home/to the pub/gym etc.

From experience, you'll be told that it must be signed in your local Garda station, or more to the point the Garda station that covers the area you live in which may not be the closest station to you. Most of the time they'll reluctantly sign it and tell you to go to the correct station next time.
