I need to do this as my tyre is almost down to the canvas.

I would normally just drop the bike in and get the job done with a new tyre however this time I decided to do it DIY and fit a good tyre from a parts bike.

    Any tips appreciated.

ya normally just loosen the nut, pop out the axel, slide the wheel toward the bike, remove the chain then slide it backward off the bike... make sure not to lose the spacers...

although i've only done it on a CBR and a SV - never on a single sided swingarm...

Cheers, job done, piece of p*ss except I had to remove the exhaust for clearance on one of the bikes. (Defeated the whole purpose of a QD wheel.)
