I also have a few questions to ask.

On an Ordinary level English paper, what Type of questions on Poetry will be asked, I'm not quite the poet and haven't a clue about poetry, would love a reply!

Have a look through past exam papers and see which questions came up.

An examiner isn't one bit stupid. The reason they are hired to correct exam's is because they know about the subject. A pre-prepared answer which you are going to get from someone else is going to be very obvious to the examiner, so instantly there goes quite a few of your marks. If you really want to build up your marks just learn 2 or 3 quotes from a few poems which you can easily explain. Start the first paragraph explaining what the poem is about, and who it is by. Make sure that it's not to long because the examiner doesn't want an essay. Then go on to use a quote which you can related to the team being discussed. Give the quote, explain it, and explain the relevance to the theme. Do so again for 2/3 more quotes. After that go on and do a final paragraph, but don't introduce new points in the final paragraph, just summarise what has already been said. :)

Did your teacher not prepare one for you?
As theme is a major essay that would need to have been prepared in class?
    Even notes?
Some MOV copies have great notes at the back of them, from what I can remember.

Seriously just try not to panic in the exam, if you remember the quotes, you can pretty much turn them to any theme/issue which is given in the question! :) Just remember to structure the answer properly and use correct grammar/spelling as quite a few marks are given to it, so any extra marks are good marks!

do we actually need to study newspapers, internet, tv etc for media studies
i no how to analyse an ad but thats about it

i think we need to know an ad from tv because i heard in one of the mock exams a question was asked about an ad. shouldnt be too hard though, i just watched the gillette ad again and you can just talk about the endorsements.

What are the predictions for media studies? Are newspapers gonna come up??????
