A passive splitter would work but Id recommend a digital amplifer such as the GLOBAL F120 2 way sky box will power unit
F140 4 Way sky box will power unit
F180 8 way will need a power source
F280 16 way will need a power source..

I'm looking for a passive splitter as sometimes introducing a powered unit into an existing system can lead to bad pictures due to overloading or simillar.

Have tried several but they dont seem to work with the eyes.

I agree with steveon f140 works great.

(its not powered. uses the sky power over rf)

For splitting just 2 ways I usually just use a passive splitter,

I usually find these to work the best, lets the power pass,

Do these definitely allow the sky link eye to work Darth.

Yeah definitely, have used them for the last 2 years, no problems, use passive for 2 splits then an active splitter for more than that.
Also try to get the magic eyes with the fly lead and an f connector, much better quality.

    e.g
    TV link pro

Thanks Darth, yeah I'd use the link amplifier for more than two all right. i actually bought 2no F type splitters lately athat were sold as being compatible with link eyes. They were good quality antiference(FS204) ones but the didn't work the eyes.

They are supposed to pass power on both legs.

Anyway thanks for that. I'll get a blast of them ones that you have suggested

    Thanks Darth,

I bought 4 of them and they do the job perfect. Just bought another blast of them there. Thanks again

Yeah those other ones will only let the power pass in the other direction, see the arrows in the photo, no good for magic eyes.

Nice to know that the ones I suggested worked alright for you, they are handy for small jobs.

    Slightly off topic.

I want to combine satellite & dtt signals to one cable & then split them again in the house.

What splitters could do this if it's possible?

    Thanks
