Analogue to digital

Hi folks. Looking for some advice.

I have 3 TV's setup at the moment using UPC's analogue service.
I have a Y splitter where the cable comes in.
One signal goes upstairs to TV and the other signal splits again to Main TV and Kitchen.

We just got a LG 37 LH5000 and am thinking of going digital.
From reading around here we'll probably move to Sky soon ;) but in the meantime we can upgrade to digital for free with UPC.

If I upgrade to digital+/digital+HD can I still split the signal to get the analogue signal for the other TV's ?

Will upgrading from analogue to non HD digital+ improve the picture quality to any great extent?

    cheers
    Stan

you will still get the anologue channels in the same method you are now but you will have a decoder/hd box for digital and it will be scart or hdmi from this to the tv

If you upgrade youll most likely be locked into a 1 year contract. If youre thinking of moving to Sky then dont bother upgrading to UPC digital first.
