Hey, ive aftermarket speakers in the front doors, both speakers are working fine but the wire that runs from the connector block under the dash through the drivers door is broken (passenger door connection is fine). Could anyone tell me how much it would cost to get a 2 new wires from the block, under the dash and through the door to the speaker installed?
Or if anyone is familiar with taking doors off a sixth gen civic hatch (door has elec windows and central locking don know if that affects anything) could they let me know how handy it is cause I wouldn mind doin it myself I just don want to wreck the door or should I just get it done professionally. Thanks

do it yourself.. It is a simple job

Tape the new cable to the old one and pull it gently through.. Connect both ends of the cable and test.. Put back on door panel and feel proud of saving yourself some cash

If he were to just join them up I would suggest soldering them to ensure good connection.

What do you mean by just join the wires back up, there is a break somewhere in the line so I would need to replace it.
