Virtualization - VMware / Citrix market share in Ireland & UK?

    Planning to do certification on VMware / Citrix. Just wondering which one of this product has the highest market share in Ireland & UK?

    Hard to tell which will end up the most valuable, I recommend specialising in Virtualisation rather than any specific vendor.
    This may mean you will want to get certified in all 3 major vendors if you want to go down the cert route.
    The basic principles behind them are the same until you move into application virtualisation then Citrix is sort of the major player for the moment. But its all a big fight right now, they will yo-yo past each other for years to come, so specialise in all of em.

    At present I would say VMWare hands down in Ireland.
    Not sure about the UK to be honest.
