    the brog?

    As in the pub?

No offence but I actually want to impress this girl! Not talk about the smell of cleaning products inside there :)

    Absolutely excellent stuff.

But from what I know there's not much really to do. There's the obvious like ice-cream and a walk in Fitz Park, or pool in the Mardyke, as for pure night time activities there's about as much of those here as there are in a monastery.

Cork can really be a poor enough city for things to do.:(

How about a comedy club? City limits

At least eight of the above activities are in County Cork, not Cork city.

Come off it nidot....there's plenty to do in cork if ya know where to go...c_montogomery just compiled a great list.

loads to do and see in cork...there'll always be people who'll say "there's nothing to do blah blah blah"....pure laziness

It's not pure laziness, its boring and boredom which sparks it. If you want to do anything or go anywhere you really have to look and a book it a few days in advance.. its just soo tedious at times.

I'd like to point out that while all the things c_montgomery said are very good things they all appear to me as not first date things.

The OP asked for first date ideas. If you look through the list not many appear as first date ideas.

I've done a good few of the activities listed at some point or another but I wouldn't consider them first date activities.

But I could be wrong, I just need the cool girl to do some of them for a first date, any takers? haha
