It depends on what the items are, so list them. Check bargain alerts, bargain requests and maybe make specific threads there, but do a search since many are already answered.

The top ones I would usually search for are
    www.amazon.co.uk
    www.komplett.ie
    www.pixmania.ie
www.mymemory.co.uk (these ship from jersey so you are liable for duty)
    www.elara.ie

If it is stuff which does not matter much, e.g. a USB lead or card reader I would try www.dealextreme.com and ebay

Yes and if your'e buying from ebay make sure you check out the seller's history and rating.
You can read feedback on other items they've sold too.
Check out the P&P to make sure it's worth your while and read the description properly in case there might be any issues in the long run.

Lastly, if you have an account with pigsback or fatcheese.com then you can collect points on your transactions with ebay.

    good luck!

Yes, www.toolhaus.org lets you check just negative & neutral feedback.

If anybody is wary about an ebay item just post the link up and people can take a look at the auction and see if it seems OK. I would not buy any sort of memory cards or sticks on ebay anymore.

I would always have Amazon as my first port of call, and if it's reasonably priced there, buy off them
it can sometimes be worth paying a smidge extra to buy off a reliable company

Also amazon.co.uk do free shipping if your order is over £25. So if you want an item at £22 it might be cheaper to throw in a cheap book or cd as it will be cheaper than paying £22 +P&P charges.

Well lads after a lot of looking and comparing I took a punt with vmaxx.ie.

Ordered a Samsung Tv and it was delivered 4 days later with no problems, everything was ok, Tv perfect.

Was also talking to a guy named Patrick on the phone and he was telling me they are based in mogely(not sure about the spelling), co cork so at least they are irish aswell. :D
