I know that there is BBC HD and ITV HD, but are there any more FTA HD channels available?

Only Luxe HD I'm afraid unless you point a dish to other satellites or subscribe to Sky. BBC1 is going HD in the Autumn. :) Channel 4 is also HD if you can receive Freeview DTT from the North or Wales and have an expensive MPEG4 DVBT2 HD receiver or a new IDTV with the same tuner built in.

Or an FTV card in a Sky box.

I didn't think Channel 4 HD would be avialble in Wales.

Channel 4 HD is likely to be on the Freesat and FTA platform by the end of the year when they find space on Astra 2D.

AFAIK there will be no HD via Freeview here in the North until DSO.

Yes, quite true I have known that for a very long time. I have been reading about the different transmitters on a few UK sites for a year now. It's very long wait DSO for the people here in the North, Sligo etc and Leinster of over two years before HD will be available. I meant the HD is only available here in places along the East Coast from Wales. :)

Yes and there would be more choice if Fiver and Five USA etc were available by then also but I doubt it, it could take two years maybe before the other Five offsprings are available. :)

STV HD is testing atm. Although similar to ITV1's schedule they do tend to opt out regularly these days. Better DOG too imo.
