Africa. I think it's still my favourite. I don't use Lynx anymore though because it's pretty crap.

    Africa ... still use it.

Lynx Nevada was pretty nice as well. Miss that one.

I'm confused. What do adults wear? And what distinguishes that from Lynx?

All smell the same to me. Really hate their ads.

I don't think actuallt MEN still use Lynx, just kids.

And when i was a kid i loved Lynx.

My fave was probably Atlantis, always liked it.

Decent deodorant that doesn't smell cheap and, in most cases, pretty rancid?

Dark Temptation aka the chocolate one. Sex. Use the shower gel version too.

Faranheit by Dior when going out.

Actually, does anyone remember inhaling it through a towel?

Lynx is putrid, cheap, and for boys, i dont know any men that use it. For me, i am reminded of my youth spent in the changing rooms after matches, where Lynx was always the choice of smelly adolescents who sprayed it in place of taking a shower. I turned my nose up then and would still do so now. Every one in their ''range'' smelt the same too. Really really bad stuff, the aroma of a fart is more enticing. That said, i do actually like their chocolate scented spray! Its about the only one of theirs i can stomach though. Deodorants are rubbish in general anyway, they dont keep you dry and dont prevent you from smelling. Anti-perspirants FTW!

I've never used Lynx. F*cking stuff smells like cheap air freshner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,323 ✭✭✭✭MrStuffins

I always use Lynx, because when i do, scantily clad attractive girls sniff near me in a dramatic fashion and attempt to partake in intercourse with me!

Especially now since my pet Gorilla is no longer around. He ate a Dairy Milk and he's now the touring drummer with Genesis!

Maybe so, but Lynx still smells like a halibut's gash.

... I just generate my own natural manly musk rather than spraying on a layer of tear gas...
Sweat only smells bad when it goes stale/sour and all the nasty bacteria start reproduce...
That's way I top up with good bacteria and use Actimel as shower gel...

Used to use Lynx a lot... until I realised it was about as useful at stopping sweat marks on underarms of shirts as a one-legged man in an arse kicking contest.

Never minded the smell of Lynx so much, but did really think they were all pretty samey-samey; nothing much to distinguish one from the other.

Nowadays, I use Mitchum anti-perspirant and a tasteful aftershave. Works all the time.

A lot of people don't realise that Lynx isn't an "Anti-Perspirant" but a "Body-Spray". Just covers up your stink!

They launched a "Lynx-Dry a few years ago and it was the worst Anti-Perspirant known to mine. Not sure you can even still buy it!

I don't spray myself with toxic waste.

    It's not supposed to.

I used to like milk a lot until I realised it was about as useful for running my car as milk.

So that'd be none of them. Lol at the people actually thinking they're using a deodorant for ~3Euro that's so superior to Lynx.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,264 ✭✭✭✭jester77

the good old shower in a can :D
I used safari and musk before moving onto the green and blue gilettes!

Nowadays I use Clinique, fragrance-free... no more toxic smells!

Alright in small amounts, not when you walk into a changing room after a bunch of lads have been in there and you seriously can't breathe.

I remember in school after PE the smell would actually spread around the whole feckin school!

REmember the Chocolate one they did that was nice, but as pointed out numerous times Lynx is for teens.

Covers up the smell of want

Oh yeah, I remember this! It burnt me horrendously every time I used it

I used to love Lynx when I was younger, but I really got sick of it. Was there one called Phoenix at some point? And one called Click that smelt vaguely like citrus fruits??
