I like to think they are. The must have some major announcements ready. Either that or it's going to be all about the Move or this is a pre-emptive strike considering they've suffered so many leaks in the past.

Enjoyed the first one it was different enough to keep a fairly similar story line going.

Personally I can't wait. I loved the first one. Not sure about the new look though.

When I saw the heading I says to myself ''AWESOME'' 1st game was amazing yet it did have the downfall of less gameplay compared to other single player games... Maybe in the sequel they would announce online? I can see online with this type of game being amazing but then again I know they would probably have issues with it...

Havn't even got through the first but I love it.

Is it just me or are game sequels becoming like movie sequels? Seems like there's a never-ending stream of sequels. Maybe nt that that's a particularly bad thing but ye know, how much can you really do different when something's really good in the first place.

Oddly, I think game sequels are the anti-movie sequels. The vast majority of film sequels are redundant rehashes of what came before. Many games are the same, but with improvements in technology and innovations gameplay wise from internal / external teams, game sequels are often much purer, building upon and expanding upon potential suggested by their predecessors. Think Uncharted 2, Half-Life 2 (arguably), GTA III, Assassin's Creed II and so on. Of course, there are many exceptions to this rule, but in general I tend to anticipate game sequels more than film ones, where there are genuinely only a handful of titles I'd consider superior to their predecessors.

On topic: I've never actually played Infamous :pac: I tried the demo and was a bit so-so about it, didn't own a PS3 when it was first released so kind of passed me be. Would be interested in a sequel, maybe, to see what I've been missing.

I expect Sony's E3 conference to the five minute interval between Nintendo's and Microsoft's. But seriously, save something for E3 Sony. =\

As long as there's a good length The Last Guardian trailer with some gameplay footage I'll be happy, I know what cars going around a track looks like so GT5 can piss off.

Also, loved Infamous, can't wait for the sequel.

Sometimes i think E3 is a bit of a let down, they show you something amazing and your thinking a brilliant when is this out october ? before christmas ? No in 2-3 years time !! Oh brilliant

all last year was Move and Natal. 1 year later and it will be still all move and Natal and neither are in the shops.

I hope Sony come out this year with 5 or 6 big games that will be in the shops by christmas.

Ya I found the exact same thing. Thought it was a bit repetitive but each to their own

Enjoyed the first one, will keep my eye on this. Although abit dissapointed that its the same lead character with the same electric power. A total revamp of the powers would be nice. But i guess they are keeping him in for story continuation purposes

Not a hope in hell of Halo coming to the PS3. Microsoft own the name. not Bungie. Though Bungie are working on a title that will be multi-platform so there may be a title announcement then.

Heard that they are going to announce a software update to allow us to play ps1 and ps2 games - you know the ones we spent fortunes on and hoarded for the excellent games they are.

Other big rumour is they have a groundbreaking patch to allow us to install a new fangled thing called another OS - something called Linux or Kleenex.

The one rumour I do not believe though is a magic wand to control our characters - that is pure fantasy - I mean - shaking a stick with a glowing knob on it - that is something from Harry Patter and the Magic Stix...
