What are your stats - height, age etc

Lay out you training AND diet in detail. Diet is crucial. You can swim the length of the english channel but if you re fuel on ****e after it won't get you the stomach you want.

Read the stickies at the top of this forum.

You also can't spot reduce - i.e zap fat off a desired part of your body. When you lose fat it comes off from all over your body.

Yeah I reckon my stomach & chest will be the most difficult to move the fat from.. :( So there's no specific exercise that would help move some of the flab from there? Just a proper diet and regular exercise?

you cant spot reduce fat. some people are genetically predisposed to storing fat in different areas.

I'm guessing that's me. The majority of the fat on my body is on my stomach. If you just saw my face you wouldn't think I was 23% body fat.

i do not agree with the predisposed bit - just some people need to cut back on the carbs and get in more good fats and proteins than others

I don't mean to be facetious but in my experience it has always been a straight-forward case of debits and credits - eat less (or less crap), and run, cycle, swim or whatever, more and harder until your belly has gone again. Then keep your eye on it and keep the right balance up. Perhaps there's good 'tricks' out there for faster results, but at the end of the day it comes down to balancing the books (sometimes you may have a fair bit of old legacy debt to pay off, but that's just the way it works!)
