Odd that they weren't named in the side. No front rowers on that bench.

edit: I'm gonna guess Tim Ryan and Denis Fogarty unless there's Irish players in New Zealand I;m forgetting about

i think its two irish players from the ireland touring party that will be playing for the nz baabaa's.

its a novel idea, and could be good for the players picked. they'd get to see how another team prepares.

i wonder what the story will be with the haka though??

Luke Fitzgerald and Sean O'Brien possibly? Both coming back from injury, both internationals and both not involved in the Irish tour.....

Other possibles could be Bob Casey and Neil Best

Alan Quinlin is definately one of them. He was on the news talking about how going to the away dressing room was so weird.

Ah that makes sense. John Fogarty and whichever of Court/Buckley doesn't make the bench then.

Quinlan's playing tonight for the Barbarians against Ireland. Article above is about the New Zealand Barbarians v New Zealand Maori in New Zealand on June 12th.

Ireland aren't playing the New Zealand barbarians lads. Any player not in a 22 that week could be up for grabs.

I'd bet at McFadden and one of Touhy and O'Donoghue.

If things keep going the way they do, this thread will be renamed to:
"Two Irish players to play for Ireland!"

I think the players will both be forwards and will be two from David Wallace, Shane Jennings and Tom Court.

    Don't know why.

It's prop, hooker and outside back that have to be filled unless they go for a 5-2 spilt for whatever reason.
