Does anyone know where to get good quality hand /self-winding watches which actually work and preferably come with a warranty?

I've bought a few on Ebay which have been unreliable or have broken after a few days.

It's ladies watches that I'm looking for, preferably vintage which display the date.

Vintage ladies which have the date are rare enough in my experience. Though if youre looking for vintage you have one advantage. Mens watches were on average much smaller in the past. Pretty much "ladies size" today in many cases. Especially the "tank" square style. Maybe have a look see in here. Ive dealt with them before. Very good. http://finertimes.com/asp/watches/query.asp?Title=Vintage+Wrists&Where=%28TypeCode=1%29&TypeCode=1

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
