Is it possible to freeze mint leaves?

Have a couple of mint plants full of leaves at the moment.
Is it possible to pick them and freeze them for use in mojitos later in the year?
Have this feeling they would go black and turn to mush when defrosted.
Is there a way to freeze them so they look and taste fresh later?

    Thanks.

I would say freezing them dry would have the effect you describe.
But if you chop them up and freeze them in an ice cube they should work fine. Fill half the cube with mint and the rest water.

pick them and hang them upside down will dry them out and you can use them then. My mint didnt die off till it snowed last year and didnt die of at all the previous year

Dry mint leaves are no real use in a mojito
