weekend away with children in ireland

    Seems to be availability here. I've never stayed but am a member of the gym and have spoke to many, many guests who speak very highly of it. Plenty of restaurants in the village and there are attractions as well Only 40 mins drive from Lahinch or some other beaches if the weather is nice.

    Where are you based, and what do you want to do? If the kids are between 5 and 16, I'd recommend Boda Borg http://www.loughkey.ie

    Did it a while back, some of it sucked real bad, but mainly because at 6 foot 6, the things seemed to be built for someone 2 foot smaller :P What I did do of it was quite epic. €15 for the entire day - great fun. Lake next to it which you can rent row boats, lots (and i do mean LOTS) of parkland around it for picnics, ball/frisbee play, etc.

    Finally, it's not really near anywhere, so it's hit and miss regarding how many people will be there. There's a camp site next to the place, although that may be booked out.
