Hey just wondering does anyone here use online trading? At the moment I use redmayne & bentley over the phone broker but with work being very quiet id much rather be able to manage the my buying and selling online so its quick and easy without the need for calls.

Im looking at Tdwatherhouse.ie alot of the uk ones will only deal with the uk even though they all seem much better value.

    Anyone got any recommendations?

Joe, I'm in a similar position. I've no experience in trading and want to open an online account where I can manage the buying and selling myself and hopefully learn from the experience! I posted a thread about this about a week ago (looking for advise) but got very little back. I got one reply recommending TDWaterhouse.ie, so I’m currently looking at their offerings. I was also thinking about attending some kind of a course to get the basics but they all seem to be very expensive – 500 euro plus for a weekend course!! If you find anything better than the TDWaterhouse offering I’d appreciate it if you would let me know. Thanks.

The reason you got few responses is because this question has been asked and answered a million times in the past 2 years and people get sick of answering the same questions.

Have a look through the old threads and you will find the info you need.

Fair point, I’ll have a good look around boards.ie and see if I can find the information that I was looking for. Cheers.
