Blocking flash adverts

I block some advert images with the hosts file. I'd like to be able to block Flash (.swf) files that come from the same domain as the html page, i.e. can't be blocked with the hosts files.

    Anybody got any ideas ?

What browser? Firefox with adblock works for me.

Mostly Opera, but I do have FF installed. I was wondering if a local proxy server might do the job.

Firefox with the NoScript or FlashBlock plugin.
