I'm on a search for a shampoo that doesn't leave my scalp flaking, It's not really dandruff, it's worst just after I wash my hair I think it might be the hard water in the area, it's much better the day after i wash my hair and my face gets quite dry too so I think it's a problem with my skin(which I already know is senitive) water and/or shampoo.

I did try head and shoulders for a while but it was awful. I'm using the auzzie stuff at the moment now it's a bit better but my skin is still flaking. I did think about using sunsilk but it's pricy for the size of it.

Go to Lush. They do fantastic shampoos (especially the solid versions) for sensitive scalps. Ask them but off the top of my head, if your water is hard, try this http://lush.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=266&category_id=487&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=80

Also, this one might work: http://lush.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=373&category_id=487&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=80

I use Neutrogena T-GEL it works for me and I had a very dry scalp before I started using it. You can get it in most supermarkets.

I use this too, then I re-wash my hair with my regular shampoo and then I condition. I find it's cheapest to buy it dunnes :)

The Johnsons baby shampoo is incredibly mild and is really nice if you're worried about the condition of your hair from over styling. I used this when I was washing my hair daily and it left your hair clean without stripping it completely. It's worth buying as it's super cheap too.

Lush has no store new me and seems a bit expensive for me. I have used Neutrogena T-GEL before it didn't seem to do much for me, might give it another go. I don't tend to style my hair, rarely even get the hair dryer out, my hair is fine it's just the day I wash my hair my skin is dry(mainly scalp and face)

I never thought about using baby shampoo

Have you thought about treating the scalp itself? I suffer with very dry sensitive skin, and i've found that using plain old olive oil as a hair mask works wonders. I use Aussie shampoo's too, as they're pretty much the only brand that don't make my skin flair up, and every couple of weeks i heat some olive oil up and slather it all over my hair and scalp-no more dry irritated skin and fantasticaly shiny and soft hair!! Cheap as chips too :D

I tried every kind of shampoo for dandruff/itchy scalp and none worked except Zeal, which you can get online and is made with only natural ingredients.

I used Trésemme shampoo and conditioner and find it very good.

i use avon tea tree & mint shampoo - i have psoriasis in scalp which is mega dry but it helps & is super cheap too - sumtimes 99c a bottel - i always buy a few & stock up - even hav my bro usin it :) hahaha dat t-gel never worked for me either :(

I would recommend sunsilk a lot - love it. HATE t-gel - I had used it once years ago and it nearly burned the scalp off me, I had severe dandruff after that for a long time. Aussie stuff I have a problem with as well :(
    Pantene is good too

My skin also gets dry - I'd recommend the blue "witch" foam-wash, never any dry skin problem with it.
