You could take the 11.00 train from Heuston to Killarney arrive 14.23 and then catch the 15.00 bus to Kenmare from there. Journey to Kenmare from Killarney 40 mins I think. :)

You would have to take 3 buses:

    Route 12 to Limerick:
    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1269938334-12.pdf

Route 14 from Limerick to Killarney:
    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1264758216-new14.pdf

Route 270 from Killarney to Kenmare:
    http://www.buseireann.ie/pdf/1245925176-270.pdf

It might be easier to take the train to Killarney and then the 270 to Kenmare?

    Train times are at:

And if you have loads of money you could always take a taxi. I'm sure a taxi driver would love a run like that :D

Millions thanks for this too. :D

Now, I have checked that I can take the train early morning and arrive Killarney at 1023am. Then take the bus 270 at 11am. And then arrive at Kenmore at 11.45am. Perfect!!!!!

    Unfortunately no you can't!

The 1100 bus is SUMMER ONLY from the end of June.

Look at the top of that column to see a symbol [2] denoting this.

You need to be very carefull reading the 270 timetable as some buses are summer only and others winter only.

Currently the only departures on the route are:
Killarney to Kenmare: 0740 and 1500
Kenmare to Killarney: 0840 and 1600

All are Monday to Friday only.

Pick and choose your trains carefully. If you book on-line, some trains are only €10 single.

If you really want to be that pedantic - it's a peak summer service for July and August only.
