USIT Canadian visa flight changes fees

    Hello,

I have a situation with USIT and can do with advice and help with other members that have participated in their Canadian Visa Under 35 Programme.

I obtained and paid for my visa, flights, and insurance back in April 2009 intending to travel to Toronto in September. I had to alter my departure dates to November instead, and I was told first flight changes would be €50 and any additional changes there on would be at €125. I thought this was rather steep (considering my brother who had gotten the same visa 3 years before received first changes for free and any subsequent changes would cost €50) but went ahead with it
It wasn't until I arrived in Toronto and met others on the same programme I learnt majority of them were provided different information and quotations, and in fact first flight changes were free and from then on it would €50 for every other change. When time came for my to prolong my stay in Toronto, changing my return flights from March 2010 to September 2010, I was first requested a fee of €125. I brought up about other costumers being charged a much smaller fee for their 2nd change, and then the agent I dealt with was swift to correct that I should be charged €60 for this change instead (was still €10 more than the €50 stated, but I let that go).
I later followed up with an email to ask why I was charged €50 for my first change before I departed Ireland, and they said they were unsure why that happened but did refund me on that.

Now, unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances I have to alter my flights for the 3rd time requiring me to return to Ireland sooner. I had provided my information to USIT and that I was aware that it would cost me another €50 for this change (and any other additional changes for that matter) as I was informed. However they are now asking for €125 (and in other emails that followed they have quoted €135!) to make this change for me. I am not pleased with the information that I've been provided by the USIT travel consultants and after not getting anywhere with the agent dealing with me, I then emailed one of their managers on this matter but have yet to hear a word from her. I find it very frustrating that the costumers are provided mixed and different information and quotations, and I don't understand how they are getting away with the fees that are seem to be pulling out from nowhere!

If anyone who has been in a similar situation and/or anyone that can provide some advice or information on this matter, that would be very much appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.
