Finally! The shops are full of 80's stuff, I just spent a fortune. Walking through town, nearly everyone is wearing this stuff, it feels almost like being back in 1987!

The 60's were sad and disturbing. The 80's were heaven.

The 80's have been back in fashion for over a year now. Probably 2. Well at least the neon part anyway. Thank you MGMT.

And for some of us, they never will, which is why I need to buy as many of these clothes as I can before they stop selling them!

The 80's may be back with a vengeance but sadly prices remain rooted in 2010 :p

What the? I honestly had to check that the OP wasn't made a few years ago and then zombified. The 80's has been back in fashion for ages. Years. Were you living in a cave? ;)

Seriously, you can buy retro 90's stuff now.

late naughties early 10's seem to be recycled fashions alright.

On guys for example,Skinny Jeans from the 70's,Haircuts((Although modified to some extent)) from the 20's,Shoes i.e. Hightops form 80's-90's.,an all these retro t-shrits from 20 years ago hah.

I don't live in Ireland though, the 80's have only just come back into fashion where I am now. As for buying retro 90's stuff... WTF? Seriously? Just a few weeks ago I had a spring clean and took all of my old crap from the 90's down to the charity shop.... guess it'll all be getting snapped up then.

i cringed last summer when i saw 80's style stuff in penneys...
the only thing i like that's out right now are the vibrant colours... but that was more late 80's early 90's (the neon, vivid colours like pink & bright blue etc)
but skin tight stone washed jeans, big floppy sweaters with shoulder pads and big sunglasses can stay in the 80's!!! i was a kid the 80's so didn't care but to see it again... yuck

I was in my teens in the eighties. I didn't like the fashions then and I don't like them now. One good thing about that decade was the pop music. And Absolute Radio have got a station dedicated to 80s music, Absolute 80s. They've also got Absolute 90s up and running.

when will they start selling retro 00's stuff? its only a matter of time.

now that i think about it, was there even a distinct fashion to the 00's? i mean what are they going to recycle from 2010 in 20 years? there is not much originality around, will they just copy the 80's twice?
