Why in Gods name are Irish people so obnoxious when there drunk? I went out last night in dublin for the first time in 2 years and Ive never been so offended in my entire life. While I was talking to two girls in the smoking area of Flannerys some ass.hole standing behind me elboed me full force into the back and knocked the wind out of me. I couldnt believe what just happend. I knew it was deliberate but I let it go. 5 minnutes later the same guy just butted into the conversation I was having with the two girls and said to me you have two choices you can leave now or and thats when I stopped listening. So I said to the two girls that I would finish my cigerette and leave because I felt like murdering the guy.

Why is this behaviour acceptable in Ireland? The guy was lucky I didnt sue him for asault.

There are obnoxious people everywhere and most of them aren't even drunk.

For more broad generalisations, please see After Hours.

Where are you from so we can make sweeping generalisations about you then?

Yes Irish people drink a lot, but it doesnt turn all of us into aggressive assholes like the one you are describing.

Because people don't do anything about it.

That place has a higher proportion of assh0les than most pubs in that area.
