They charge £2.50 per item, which makes a lot of these cheaper elsewhere. Cheack www.find-dvd.co.uk first.

The worst thing about HMV is they charge a whopping £2.50 PER ITEM delivery to Ireland.

It's a shame as they tend to have some great offers, but the offer needs to justify the delivery cost (e.g I got the complete boxset of The Shield off them for £39.99, and even with the delivery charge of £2.50 - it was still about £20 cheaper than elsewhere).

EDIT: Bah.. Mizu_Ger beat me to it! :)

Currently amazon are closly matched if not identical to HMV in terms of price, but the delivery is cheaper per item and there free shipping with the super saver option on orders over 25 pounds.

Cheapest for Gamer including delivery is 7.99 euro on Play.com, but will take 2 weeks to restock - http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/10853658/Gamer/Product.html

yeah the £2.50 delivery means that I'd only ever buy stuff off them at £25+

had issues with play.com over damaged items, and the hut/sendit I'd be lucky to get my stuff before crimbo

so for me its pretty much amazon or zavvi every time

Zavvi ain't much better - remember - TheHut, SendIt, Asda and Zavvi are all part of the TheHut Group.

Amazon are still the "dogs balls" (both in terms of speed of shipping and customer service).

    +1 on that

Back to HMV , I just spotted a nice deal on HMV for Scrubs season 1-7 DVD for £59.99 + shipping ... not to bad.

the £2.50 may make some of them dearer but not all of them, so my work here is done.Anyone who gets a bargain enjoy.

Would also give Asda+1, ordered Planet Earth (Blueray) on friday last and got it in post Monday...Plus it was nearly half the price than in city centre.
