Anyone have any links to race routes for these? Just entered the first one with a view to doing the other 3 also - but I've not found any maps anywhere for it.

Also any other newbie plodders looking to do these? Found some previous results and I'll be at my best to be better than second last home.

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/10691855 is a link to the carrick one, Deadman's 5. I did this last year and am doing it again on friday week. It was a very good race - chipped, t-shirt, food, well marshalled all for a €10 - and the there was runners of all ages the results show the last place finisher came in around 47 minutes or so.

Ah good stuff thanks - doesn't look too hilly either. I've booked into it but haven't heard anything from them yet - I'll turn up and give it a lash - I wouldn't expect to be any faster than that last placed finisher last year but sure not to worry.:D Maybe I'll look for the most plodder-like person in the field and hang on with them!:p

Unfortunately I've picked up an ITB injury and have had to rest since last Thursday week - a short run last Thursday confirmed that it is still a problem. I won't be around for the next 2 so might get the last one.
